Regina Glisson, 92, of Melbourne, FL passed away July 6, 2023. She was born in Berlin, Germany in 1930 where she lived until meeting and marrying the love of her life, Jack, in 1952.  Jack brought Regina to the U.S. where she said the daily nightmares of WWII finally ceased.  They had an exciting life that included time as a family on Alcatraz Island where Jack was a prison guard.  Eventually they moved to Brevard County in 1957.  That was the better place to raise their growing family that included their late daughter, Virginia Utt.  Surviving children:  Ronny, Brian (Nikki), Wayne (Kristy) and Lisa (Bruce) Gould.  She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Regina and Jack with daughter Lisa were able to return to Berlin in the 1980s to live there for four glorious years to be reunited with her German family; her late parents, late brother and surviving brother and their families.    They returned to their home in Brevard County once the grandchildren started to appear.  They enjoyed traveling and visiting their children and grandchildren wherever that may bring them; even traveling to Japan 5 times.

Regina, who was lovingly called "Mumsie", "Grandma" and "Oma" will be missed.  The family finds comfort in knowing she is finally reunited with "Popsie" who passed away in 2004.
