Rebecca S. Smith, 73, of Melbourne, Florida passed away peacefully on November 23, 2015 at Kindred Hospital with her husband of 53 years by her side.

She was born April 6, 1942 in Columbia, SC to the late Harry and Ailene Smith. Rebecca was a 1960 graduate of Huntsville High School and later attended the University of Alabama.

Mrs. Smith was dedicated to her family and cherished time spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed lunches with her friends and spending time at the Smith vacation home in Tennessee.

She is survived by her husband, Coleman H. Smith, Jr.; son, Cary (Michelin) Smith of Rockledge; daughter, Connie (Dean) Wooley of West Melbourne and grandchildren, Jennifer (David) Hoover and Alison (Nicky) Pereira of Palm Bay.

A funeral service will be held 2:30 pm, Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home followed by a burial at Florida Memorial Gardens.
