Raymond H. Highsmith, 82, of Melbourne, peacefully went home Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Born July 25, 1934 in Quincy, FL to Maggie and Fate Highsmith. Surviving him are his "sugar bug" of 57 years, Joan Doud, daughters, Laurie Sandberg, Debra (Robert) Kenney, Ann Highsmith, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Yvonne, Chester, Lester, and Keith. Four sisters and one brother predeceased him. Graveside service will be Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 1422 Miller Street, Palm Bay, FL at 10:30 a.m.
