Obituary

Rockledge

1938-2013

Although we mourn for him, Ray is finally on the greens playing the game he loved most! Ray passed away suddenly on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the age of 75. He was a loving husband of 55 years to his wife Elaine, and an understanding and devoted dad to his 5 children, Collette Berthiaume (Gary), Suzette Kihm (John), Raymond Berthiaume II, Michelle Johnson (Ross), and Dr. Richard G Berthiaume (Angela). He was a proud Pepere to 9 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren (and one on the way!) His best gal Muffin will miss his belly and lap.

Ray began his career in the US Navy 1956-1960 on the USS Intrepid CVA-11, became a Master computer analyst, and taught at Johnson & Wales in Rhode Island before moving to Florida. He owned General Business Services from 1978 until he began work at KSC. He retired in 1996.

He was a Eucharistic minister and lector at St. Mary's church, and a past Grand Knight for Knights of Columbus council #6125. His heart was with Habitat for Humanity, Titusville, where he was a volunteer and President until his withdrawal due to health. He recently volunteered his time at the VA Hospital in Viera.

A prayer service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Habitat for Humanity or to any of our wounded veterans in need.

Condolences may be shared at www.davisseawinds.com.
