Phyllis Jean Egelston Dumford, 81, graciously entered into the open arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 21, 2014. Born on January 16, 1933 in Franklin, OH she was the beloved daughter of the Late George and Maude Hensley Owens. Phyllis relocated to Kissimmee, Florida in 1976 coming from Monroe, OH, and has been a resident of Brevard County for the past 12 years. She is survived by her daughters, Janice Perkins of Middletown, OH, Celeste Combs and Carla Daniel of West Melbourne, FL; stepdaughters, Linda Brandenburg and Lois Laubach of Middletown, OH; sister, Sondra Osborne; 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Dick Dumford; sister, Barbara King; nephew, Thomas King and a great-granddaughter, Kyra Faith Noble. A Celebration of Phyllis's Life will be held at 4p.m. on Saturday, July 12th at the Kissimmee Church of Christ, 921 W. Vine St., Kissimmee, FL 34741.
