Palm Bay

Phillip Landis, 85, departed this life peacefully on Sunday, December 15th, 2013, in Palm Bay, FL. Born in Manchester, Indiana on December 29, 1927, Phillip was the beloved child of Harry and Mayme Berry-Landis. He honorable served in the U.S. Air Force and later became a long time resident of Brevard County. Phillip retired as an engineer from an electronics company that was responsible for designing and manufacturing radars. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Mr. Landis will be remembered as a brilliant, self-taught man that was only a book away from solving a technical solution.

Mr. Landis leaves memories to be cherished by his beloved wife of 57 years, Margaret; children, Daryl (Wendy) and Perry Landis; grandchildren, Heather Bennett, Brandon, C.J., Lael, Jordan, Hannah, Loren; and 2 adoring great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Our Father's House in Satellite Beach on Sunday, December 29th. The time will be set in the afternoon. Please check back later for the updated time.
