Pearsidia "Pat" May, 73, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Friday, July 25, 2014. Pat was born to the late Benjamin Merit Graham and Bertha Jane Goodman-Graham on April 25, 1941 in Block, TN. Pat moved to Brevard County in 1992 from Ludlow Falls, OH. She will be remembered as a lovable, hard-working homemaker that taught the importance of a strong family unit. Some of her favorite pastimes included working crossword puzzles, making beautiful quilts, and spending time with family and friends. She loved attending family reunions and providing care for children, which she enjoyed her whole life. Her legacy will remain in our hearts forever.
Pat leaves memories to be cherished by her children: Carla J. McKee, David Park (Marisol), Jack Park, Sonya Jo Rice (Derek), and David Joe May (Rhonda); and was extraordinarily close to her treasured siblings, Louise Greer, Betty Lay, Sylvia Todd (Lonnie), Leona Shaw, Mary Lewis, Jane Schlein (Bob), and Denny Graham (Sue); grandchildren, Sarah Fox (Rick), Bonnie Rice, Drew Graham Springer, Maggie Rice, Daniel Rice, Matthew Joe Rice, Jason May (Tricia), Nichole Craft (Randy), Soni Shaw (Jack Jr); 16 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends. She was greeted in heaven by her adoring husband, Joe May; siblings, Truman Hill, Jean Shaw, Hobby Graham, Hurstal Graham, and Willard Lee Graham. Family will greet friends from 11 to 11:15 AM on Thursday, July 31st at the River Run Christian Church, 1660 Croton Rd., Melbourne, FL 32935 with a Celebration of Pat's Life to follow at 11:15 AM.
