Pauline "Pollie" Louise was born on February 13,1930 to the late Irvin and Pauline Pierce Schrader of Elkton, Maryland. She was a DAR and was educated in Maryland. After high school she studied voice at the Delaware School of Music where she met and married Marvin Edward Atkinson (deceased). After many years she met and married Thomas Watson (deceased), a retired Marine pilot. Then at the age of 80 she met and married "in the eyes of God" Arnold "Burr" Bowman.

She was always active in her church wherever they lived, most recently Trinity Presbyterian Church. She also was a member of Professional Business Women's Association, the National Secretaries Association, the National Red Cross Volunteers and was a delegated advisor to Business Education Co-ops at Melbourne and Eau Gallie High Schools.

After many years of employment at Harris Corporation she became a Realtor and, with friends co-owned a hospitality real estate company. She co-founded through the U.S. State Department in D.C., the Space Coast Council for International Visitors, and hosted dignitaries from around the world.

Pollie is survived by her 3 children Deborah Houff, Edward Atkinson and Shawn Harris, her five grandchildren Lauren Emory, Adam Emory, Stephen Dever Haris (Amanda), Spenser Harris (Alexandra) and Skylar Harris. Also her two great grandchildren Stuart Dever Harris and Robyn Harris who were her biggest accomplishment and her greatest joy.
