Paul Votour of Indialantic, FL passed away on December 29, 2020 surrounded by his family. Paul was born in Billerica, MA on May 28, 1944 to the late Edward and Ruth (Barton) Votour. Paul was married to Carol (Caunter) Votour for 52 years.

He attended Billerica High School.  After high school, he joined the Air Force and the Air Force Reserves. He was introduced to the exciting new world of computers while serving in the Air Force.  After the Air Force, he started a long career with computers first with Honeywell and then almost 30 years with IBM.   After his retirement from IBM he started a consulting firm which he owned and operated for an additional 15 years.

Paul is survived by his wife Carol and his two daughters and their families: Marcia and Brian Prowell and their children Ben and Katie (Auburn, AL), as well as Susan and John Martin (Burke, VA) and their children Josh, Dillion and Jake.  He is also survived by his sister Marilyn and her husband Don Dempsey (Newbury,  VT) and many in-laws including Betsy Votour (Port Orange, FL), Francis Caunter (So. Daytona, FL), Cynthia and David Camara (Pelham, NH), Kevin Caunter, Thomas and Barbara Caunter, Judith and Michael Pigeon, Richard and Rosanne Caunter, Ann Marie and Victor Thellen, Brian and Colleen Caunter (all of Lowell, MA) and William Caunter (Tyngsboro, MA), and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Edward Votour and Sister-in-law Donna Bouchard.
