Paul Haggard, 68, of Melbourne, FL passed away on August 1, 2020 with his family by his side.

He was born to the late Paul H. Haggard Sr. and Isabel Jean Haggard on May 5, 1952 in Marblehead, MA. Paul graduated from Marblehead High School in 1971 and he received his BA in Accounting from the University of Miami in 1978. He married Pamela Haggard (Bond) in 1984, and they lived together in Broward County Florida before relocating to Melbourne, FL in 2016.

Paul proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for 4 years in the New England area searching for and saving the lives of numerous fishermen and scientists in the Northern Atlantic.

Paul was a Chief Financial Officer for over 35 years. Over his career he worked for Automatic Data Processing, Interim Services, and finally Travelpro International before retiring in 2017.  He was dedicated to the people who worked alongside him and loved doing things for them just to add some fun.

After retiring, Paul received his Real Estate License in Brevard County, FL. He strived to help young people find and purchase their first home.

Paul is survived by his children, Joshua Haggard of West Palm Beach, FL, Adam Haggard of Weston, FL and Jarad Haggard of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, his brother Thomas Haggard of East Boston, MA and his sister Susan Hawkins (Haggard) of Topsfield, MA as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Wounded Warrior Project in his honor.
