Patsy Ann (Kieffer) Moores, 67, formally of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at her home in West Melbourne, Florida, on Thursday, April 7, 2016, after years of battling Lupus and then a short but courageous battle with Liver cancer.
She was born to the late Robert Kieffer and Laura (Fidler) Kieffer on July 26, 1948 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was a 1966 graduate of John Harris High School.
Patsy retired as a Customer Service Representative for Pennsylvania Blue Shield, where she was employed for 35 plus years.
She was passionate about her gardening, her love for her animals, and spending time with her family.
Additionally she is survived by her sister Sherry and her husband Thomas W. Shumaker Sr.; children Charles G. Kieffer of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; Renee L. (Bennett) and her husband Matthew RG Stover of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. 1 niece and 2 nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family in Florida. A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date. Information will be provided in the Patriot News obituary for Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, Pennsylvania 17033.
