Obituary

Owen "Owie" Lewis Soderberg-Maxwell, 20 years old, sadly left us far too early on Friday, June 15,2018 and went into the loving arms of his Aunt Junie, Uncles Grant, Danny, Clayton, Cousin Ian, Grandpa Joe, Mofar, and Mor Mor, who preceded him through the veil and waited on the other side to lovingly receive him.

We, who are left behind, heart broken and grieving, know he is at peace and in the best of care and company.

Owen was born in Melbourne, Florida, to Mark Owen Maxwell and Ann Elisabeth Soderberg. The middle son of 3, he has always had his beautiful brothers Freddy, 22 and Evan 15 years old, standing side by side, right next to him.

Owen knew much love from his mother and brothers and the greatest devotion and adoration of his father.  Owen, so quiet and observant was surrounded by a very large and loud extended family, both here and in Sweden. Biologically, Owen has 9 uncles, 6 aunts, and 28 cousins. Add now, their companions, families and friends to the list and then you must believe, that

If love alone could have saved him, He would have never died.

Owen attended and graduated from the West Melbourne School of Science and Palm Bay High School.

Owen loved the outdoors and most especially going on the innumerable camping trips and adventures with his father, brothers and large extended family.

Owen was always a very loving boy who grew into a loving, caring and sensitive man like his father.

True love, pure love, unconditional love, is a thing of beauty, it brings joy forever! Its loveliness increases and will never pass into nothingness.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am a diamond glints on the snow.
I am the sunlight on ripen grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds, in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die
Mary Elizabeth Frye
