Ottmar Karl Theodore Dippold passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida. Born in Germany and immigrating to the United States in 1967, Ottmar built a rich and meaningful life rooted in optimism, hard work, and a boundless love for adventure.

Ottmar is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Linda Dippold; his daughter, Angela Dippold; and his stepson, Daniel Clotfelter. He was deeply proud of his family and the life they created together.

A talented and dedicated professional, Ottmar enjoyed a successful career growing the local defense manufacturing company Opto Mechanik, which later became part of Leonardo DRS. His leadership, integrity, and commitment to excellence left a lasting impact on colleagues and the community.

Those who knew Ottmar will remember him as the most optimistic man they ever met—always ready with a joke, a warm smile, or a story that could brighten any room. He embraced life fully, traveling the world by air, sea, and RV alongside Linda, creating decades of cherished memories.

Ottmar's spirit, laughter, and unwavering positivity will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral Mass in Ottmar's honor will be held on February 1, 2025, at 12:15 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Indialantic, Florida.
