Orlando E Brillante age 89 passed into the arms of our Lord, Saturday October 11, 2014. He was a resident of Indialantic since 1964 where he always had a willingness to serve others in his community and will be remembered for his kindness, generosity to all.

He served in the Army from 1943 - 1964 in the Africa, Italy and Korean campaigns retiring as Major. He pioneered cable television in the State of Florida and was founder and past president of Florida TV Cable. He was appointed by Governor Bob Graham as State Tele-Communication Consultant. He was also past president of the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce, Astronaut Trail Association, Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis Club, Honor America. He was a past chairperson of the Code Enforcement Board; Brevard Legislative Week-end Committee: Treasure/member Brevard Civilian Military Council a life time member of VFW Post 4206 and usher at Holy Name of Jesus.

He leaves memories to be cherished by his beloved wife Alda; children Cheryl Link of Jacksonville; Larry Brillante (Mariane) Indialantic; Robert Brillante (Dana) of Tallahassee; grandsons Robert Link (Jamie), Bret Brillante, Chad Brillante (Brittany), Holden Link and great grandson Finn Link.

Visitation will be at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home on Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5:00 - 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Friday October 17, 2014 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, Fl.
