With profound sadness and unwavering faith, we announce the passing of Oliver Nease Bryant, Jr., who entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 26, 2026. Oliver passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family.  He fought a fierce fight but cancer did NOT win....Jesus did.

Oliver dedicated more than 40 years of his life to serving families in the funeral home industry. He considered it one of life's greatest privileges to care for those who had passed and to walk alongside grieving families during some of their most difficult moments. His compassion, dignity, and servant's heart touched countless lives, and he viewed his work not simply as a profession, but as a calling.  Davis Seawinds Funeral Home was not just a workplace they were his family.  Oliver was an Army Veteran and also served in the Army reserves for 6 years.  He was also a member of the Harbor City Masonic Lodge in Eau Gallie, FL.

A devoted Christian, Oliver's faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life. He lived with humility, kindness, and a deep love for others, always striving to reflect the grace and compassion that his Savior had shown him. His family finds peace in knowing that he is now in the eternal presence of the Lord he faithfully served.

Oliver's greatest joy was his family. He was a loving and devoted husband to Stacy Ann Bryant and a proud father to Sheena Bryant, Kayla Miller (Kyle), Rosie Bryant, and Shan Bryant (Chelsea). Nothing brought him greater happiness than being "PaPaw" to his five beloved granddaughters: Kristy, Emilie, Kylie, Kynslee, and Madison. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Kim Wise, his mother-in-law, Dianna Billadeau, and many extended family members and dear friends.  Also his fur babies, Winnie and Penelope. 

Oliver was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Bryant, Sr and Virginia "Faye" Lawson,  His bonus parents who raised him, Gene and Tootie Brown and one brother Tim Bryant.

Outside of work, Oliver enjoyed collecting baseball cards, comic books, and other treasured collectibles. He found great pleasure in preserving pieces of history and sharing those interests with family and friends.  He loved going home to Newport Tennessee and going to Cosby Creek.  He also love St. Augustine.  Going through the fort and seeing all the history was something he loved.

Oliver will be remembered for his gentle spirit, warm smile, generous heart, and quiet strength. Whether comforting a grieving family, spending time with those he loved, or sharing stories about one of his treasured collections, he made a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Although his earthly journey has ended, the love he gave, the lives he touched, and the faith he lived by will continue to inspire all who knew him. His family takes comfort in God's promise that they will see him again.

Oliver's memory will forever be cherished, and he will be deeply missed until that joyful day when family and friends are reunited with him in Christ.

There will be a Gathering at Davis Seawinds August 22, 2026 from 12 - 2pm with a Celebration of Life at 2pm.
