On July 5, 2015, God called Noble Eugene Russell, 87, home to heaven. Noble was born and raised in Pickett County, TN. He joined the Marine Corps and served in WWII. Afterwards, he married Lillys Huddleston and attended Tennessee Tech University. Noble and family moved to Melbourne in 1964 where he taught high school and college mathematics and owned several marine related businesses. He was an avid fisherman, excellent handyman, and die hard NASCAR and UT fan.
Survivors include wife, Lillys; son, David (Sno-Ann); daughters, Deborah Cederburg (Daniel), and Myra LaRoche (Marc); grandchildren, Christen Russell, Nicole LaRoche, Jonathan Russell, Stephen LaRoche, Brittany Gerard (Jake), Camie Cederburg, and Colman LaRoche; two great-grandchildren, Zane LaRoche and Ann Marie Gerard and brother, Joe Russell (Arlene).
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 10:30 a.m., July 11th followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at River Run Christian Church, 1660 Croton Road, Melbourne. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Meals on Wheels (Aging Matters of Brevard), Hospice of Health First, or the Alzheimer's Association.
