Myrle D. Wardwell, 90, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2014 at Palm Bay Community Hospital with her children by her side. Myrle was born on December 14, 1923 to the late Mabel and Nicholas Donohue. She was married 38 years to Myron "Mike" Wardwell and had 4 children. She resided in Rutland and Essex Junction, VT, relocating to Melbourne, FL in 1973. She retired in 1988 from AT&T as a telephone operator. Myrle loved life, her family and many friends. She spent the last year of her life at Anchor Care Nursing Center in Port Malabar, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Mike; son, Peter and her sister, Charlotte. Myrle is survived by her son, Wayne Wardwell (Barbara); daughters, Barbara Hix (Earl) and Peggy Klebeck (Ted Stull); brothers, Roy Donohue (Gail) of Penacook, NH and Richard Donohue (Nancy) of Newbury Park, CA; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Family will greet friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22nd at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne with a Celebration of Myrle's Life to follow at 2 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.davisseawinds.com.
