Andy and his wife, Bobbie, moved to Micco, Florida in 1965 after serving
in the Air Force. They became active members of Pine Grove Baptist
Church in Micco. Upon the retirement of Pine Grove's Music Director, he
became the Music Director of Pine Grove Baptist Church which is now
known as First Baptist Church of Micco and served the church in this
capacity for twenty-eight years. In 1993, he resigned his position at
First Baptist Micco and accepted the call of Bowe Gardens Baptist
Church in Eau Gallie, Florida where he served for four years.
Andy and Bobbie became a part of First Baptist Church of Wabasso in
1997. He served as the Music Director for five years before resigning
his position due to their move to Palm Bay, FL. However, God was not
finished with the task He had planned for Andy and Bobbie at First
Baptist Church of Wabasso and once again they became an active part
of the fellowship. In July of 2008, Andy joined the staff of First
Baptist Church as the bi-vocational Music Director.
Through the years God has used Andy and his wife, Bobbie, to minister
to others. Andy was an accomplished soloist and has performed at
many churches as well as community events. He was a member of the
Southern Gospel Music Association.
Andy and Bobbie were married on Christmas Eve 1963. They have one
son, Gary, who lives in the Melbourne area with his wife, Liz. Andy
and Bobbie realized the joys of being grandparents when their
granddaughter, Ambre, was born. Ambre married Matt Goetz and they
currently reside in Sebastian, Florida. In September of 2009, Andy and
Bobbie welcomed their first great-granddaughter, Lydia, into their
family. In February of 2014 they welcomed their great grandson,
Travis, into their family. Andy and Bobbie enjoy spending time with
their family, especially their great grandchildren.
