Michael P Senger

April 29, 1942 to December 14, 2017

Michael passed into the Spiritual World on Thursday, December 14 ^th .

He originated from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. He graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School, and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He worked for Giddings & Lewis Machine Tool Company as a Quality Control Inspector, then for Mercury Marine in several capacities.  His last position was Director of Engineering Services.  He was transferred to Melbourne, Florida in the spring of 1990 with the Brunswick Corporation.  He brought his love for the Packers and the Badgers with him wherever he went.

Mike had the good fortune to retire in 1996, which gave him the time to serve in many capacities around his interests.  He was a longtime member of the local, active, adult singles group in Brevard, "Trailblazers." He served on the board in many capacities, and hosted many activities. He introduced many people to the love of dancing and adventure. Trailblazers enriched his life.  He was also very active in the "Space Coast Paddlers Club."   He not only enjoyed paddling local waters but had a passion to help save our Indian River Lagoon.

Mike loved dancing and the outdoors. Tennis, hiking, paddling, fishing and biking brought him joy. He also loved his friends, and most of all his Soul Mate, Kathy Brandt.

There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.

In Lieu of Flowers donations to a non-profit that supports our community or environment would also be a good choice: The Florida Wildlife Hospital, 4560 N. US Hwy 1, Melbourne, FL or the Marine Resource Council, 3275 Dixie Hwy HE, Palm Bay, FL  32905. He also would have appreciated donations to the Salvation Army, which helped him in a time in his life when help was needed.
