Michael Francis Patnoad , 74, of Palm Bay Florida (Formerly of Griswold Ct) Passed away peacefully on April 13, 2018 at the William Charles Hospice House. He was born in Westerly R.I.  on June 12, 1943 to Joseph and Catherine (Roberts) Patnoad. He is survived by his loving wife, of 51 years, Lynda (Dugas) Patnoad and his sons: Paul and (Patricia) Patnoad, Keith Patnoad, and Trevor and(Shannen) Patnoad. Four Grandchildren Cole, Eve, Matthew Patnoad and Joshua Prince

He is also survived by his sisters Joanne and(Donald) Johnsen, Patricia Harrison, and brother Frank and (Prudence) Patnoad

Michael graduated from The New England Baber School in 1961 and open the Roadside Barber Shop on Route 3 in Ashaway R.I. He loved serving his many customers in his homme town of Ashaway. In 1966 he married is wife Lynda, who survives him, and had three sons.

After 15 years running his own business, he made the hard decision to close his shop, and in 1978 he started working as a barber for the Navy Exchange System. He cut hair in the submarine base barber shop as well as on the barge in the Electric Boat Shipyard. Every knew him as little Mike.

After working at the exchange for 18 years, he retired. He could not sit home so he served four more years as a barber at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London. He finally fully retired do to ill health.

His courageous fight to conquer many major illnesses shows the strength of a wonder husband and father.  He will be sadly missed by many people.
