Michael William Mannix, 61, departed this life and entered the loving arms of our Heavenly Father on Friday, April 18, 2014 in Palm Bay, FL. Mike was born in Brooklyn, NY on November 13, 1952 and was the beloved son of the late Raymond and Regina Howard-Mannix. Mike leaves memories to be cherished by his loving wife of 20 years, Carolyn; children, Jesse (Amiee), Ethan (Erick) and Jenna-Ray Mannix; brothers, Raymond (Patricia) and Thomas (Terrie) Mannix; and his sister, Regina (Wayne) Byrne. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia in 2010. Mike will be remembered as an exceptional man whom was dedicated to his family. He relocated to Brevard County in 2006 coming from Levittown, NY. Mike enjoyed being outdoors, cruising on his motorcycle, gardening and staying fit. He had an incredible sense of humor and always appreciated a good smile. For the majority of his career, he was a skilled mason that took pride in his work. He will be deeply missed. Family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 24th at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 25th at St. Joseph's Catholic Parish in Palm Bay, FL.
