Giacchetta, Michael 82, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2014 at William Childs Hospice House, Palm Bay, FL. Michael was born in Hudson, NY and served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He worked 34 years at IBM in Albany, NY. Michael is survived by his wife Sandy, his 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Catholic Community of St. Edward the Confessor, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd, Clifton Park, NY 12065 (518) 371-7372. Inurnment will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to William Childs Hospice House in memory of Michael. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Davis Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne, FL 32935.
