DeSimone, Michael of West Melbourne, July 10, 2026. Age 85. Beloved husband of the late Lucille Gertrude (Belanger) DeSimone. Devoted father of Nicholas DeSimone & his wife Tracey (Mahoney) DeSimone of Palm Bay. Loving grandfather of Jason DeSimone & his wife Jaime of Maine, step-grandfather to Mark Seidel of Rockledge and Erin Wells & her husband Ryan of South Carolina and several great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Luigi, Amlia, Leonidina, Alexxandro. 

US Army Veteran. Born in Tora e Piccili, Italy in 1940, he came to the United States when he was 16 and eventually joined the United States Army. He was a quiet man, humble, steady, and deeply devoted, and he needed no grand stage to make his presence felt. His life was built not on spectacle, but on something more enduring: consistent love, honest work, and gentle wisdom that those fortunate enough to know him will carry for the rest of their lives.

Funeral Mass at Ascension Catholic Church will be held on August 20th at 11am, with reception to follow. Relatives & friends are kindly invited to attend.

Burial with Military Honors will be held at Ascension Catholic Church Memorial Garden for Family following Mass.
