Michael Ferguson Bohannon, 82, of Melbourne, died Sunday, December 7, 2025 with his family by his side. He was born to the late David and Ann Bohannon November 16, 1943 in Lansing, Michigan. Mike is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He received a degree from Barry University in South Florida.

He married Patsy Bohannon in 1965, and they lived together in San Diego, CA, later relocating to several different cities in the US, due to corporate assignments. In 1984, they made their final residence in the State of Florida. First, moving to Palm Beach County, and after retirement, permanently residing in Brevard County, Florida.

Mike was on the management team at IBM, where initially took early retirement after 29 years of service to the company. He later came out of retirement, where he found a second career for over 15 years with AAR.

Mike is survived by his children Michael Jr. (Nicola) Bohannon, of Lake Worth, FL; Dorothy Mazell of Summerville, SC; Dennis Hicks of Summerville, SC; close neice Analisa(Patrick) Duggan and predeceased by sons Deryl Hicks and Donald Hicks. He also is survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A private service will be with family only.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to the Salvation Army.
