Michael Bobe, 52, of Melbourne, died Saturday, January 9th, 2016 at home.

He was born on October 25th, 1963 in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Eastern Military Academy in 1980. After high school, he traveled and lived in Korea and Columbia before settling back in New York. During those years he was very motivated to support himself and his family and worked for multiple employers at the same time. He loved the beach and his mom, so after many years he relocated to Melbourne, FL.

Michael liked to listen to talk radio and the news. He was a big fan of beer, trying new recipes and hot sauces which he put on almost everything, the hotter the better. He enjoyed shopping for a bargain which took him to the flea market and thrift stores. He could find anything he wanted in those places when he couldn't find it in a traditional store. Michael was proud of all of his children, but his daughter Raven held a special place is in heart. He saw her grow into a beautiful, independent young woman who recently enlisted in the Navy. When she left for boot camp before Christmas he was torn because he didn't want to see his little girl leave but he was so proud of the woman she had become.

Michael is survived by his wife Micki, his children Deandra, Michael Paul, and Raven; his step-children Tyler, Karyn, Brian, and Scott; his mother Dorita; his sister Yolanda and brother David; many cousins and extended family members.

A celebration of life is going to be held Thursday January 14th at 6:00pm at Old School Pizza Midtown 3150 S Babcock St, Melbourne, FL.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association in his memory.
