Merle D. Friday, 93 passed on Thursday, August 15, 2013 with her family by her side. Merle was born in Brooklet, GA and grew up in Savannah, GA. In 1956, she moved to Melbourne Beach with her husband, John "Jack" Friday. She is survived by her 4 children, Darryl (Debra), Sharon Stow (Rick), Clinton and Terry (Debbie) Friday; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Merle was a lover of animals. Family will celebrate her life privately. Interment with graveside services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
