Matthew LaShure died November 14, 2014. He was predeceased by his sister, Leila and his father, Leonard LaShure. He leaves behind his mother, Joyce Savage of Mango FL; wife of 29 years, Lynn LaShure of IHB; son, Brandon LaShure and wife, Nikki of Ft Bragg, NC; daughter, Nikki Difilippo and husband, Alex of Melbourne. He also leaves many, many friends and extended family that he loved dearly. Matt served his country proudly for 21 years. He loved Army Aviation and was a Desert Storm veteran. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and DAV. He fought bravely for his country and for his troops, peacetime and war. He fought even harder for his family and friends. He was a very active member of Satellite and Viera Lions Club and District 35-D. He won the Millard B Conklin Crusader Award for his amazing work collecting used eye glasses to help those that could not afford glasses.
He was a native Floridian and proud to be a "cracker". He joined the military right out of High School, travelled the world, then returned to his home. He loved fishing, boating, target shooting, and anything that involved his family around him. Family will greet friends from 4p.m. to 6:30p.m. on Thursday, November 20th at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne, with funeral services to follow at 6:30a.m. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
