Maryann P. Gilboard, born November 26, 1932 passed on April 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by loved ones.

Maryann is survived by her three children, Marilyn Stewart, Robert Kulak and Tony Gilboard; grandchildren, Matthew Hammond, Gina Fashano,  Chelsea and Raquel Kulak, Emily Holmes, Eli and Easton Gilboard and great-granddaughter Elianna Fashano.

Raised in Queens, New York, Maryann worked as a logistics manager at Copperweld Steel Company in New York City before moving to Melbourne with her family.

She joined the Ascension Catholic Church Parish in 1964 where she and late husband Charles became leaders, giving over 40 years of service in the Ascension Catholic ministries youth program, choir and Social Concerns.

Maryann and Charles were honored by Pope Benedict the 16th along with other central Florida Christians in 2009 ceremony for their long and dedicated service to the poor.  Maryann's love for God and dedication to service is a testimony of love and commitment to family and church; she will truly be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am, Wednesday, April 25 ^th at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd., Melbourne, FL.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to the Ascension Social Concerns at the church office.
