Mary "Penny" Frances Tamlyn 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 16, 2014 in Melbourne, FL. She was born in Lynn, MA to George and Beulah Foster. Mary attended Somerville High school in Somerville, MA and then went on to earn her nursing degree at Mount Auburn School of Nursing.
After living in Massachusetts for many years, Penny and Beverly retired to Brevard County in 1990. She enjoyed sewing and swimming in her pool, and especially loved horses and the love of her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Tamlyn, and son; Scott Tamlyn.
She leaves memories to be cherished by her loving husband of 65 years; Beverly Tamlyn, Daughters; Rachael Schena (Ron), Robin Brothers (Skip), Beth Wells (Rob), Son; Bruce Tamlyn, grandchildren; Eric, Jessica, Justin, Stephanie, Erika, and April, Great-grandchildren; Tamlyn, Autumn, Abigayle, Landon, Lillyanna, Tanner, and Aiden.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The First Baptist Church of Merritt Island - Jubilation Student Choir. Checks may be made payable to FBCMI and include J.S.C in the memo field.
