Palm Bay

Mary Lucy Cashier, formally of Syracuse, NY departed this life peacefully with her family by her side and joined our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 12, 2014 in Palm Bay, FL. Born on February 21, 1941 in Syracuse, NY, Mary was the beloved child of the late Michael and Catherine (Lostumbo) Cazzato. Mary will be remembered as a lovable and compassionate woman, whom brought laughter to everyone and truly appreciated the presence of her family and friends. She was very welcoming and enjoyed cooking lavish meals for her loved ones. Mary worked several years at American Granby, before retiring to Florida. Mary leaves memories to be cherished by her husband, Frederick Cashier; daughter, Cathy; sons, Michael, Mark (Geraldine), and Michael Camastra; grandchildren, Katy, Addison, and Olivia Cashier; brother, Joe Peluso; a dear cousin, Sal Salvato; and several nieces, nephews and godchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 20th at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne, FL. A Memorial service will be held in Syracuse, NY at a later date.
