Martha Marie Scripko Hill, 88, died peacefully at her daughters home on November 8, 2020 with family by her side. She was born to the late George and Anna Scripko in Clairton, Pennsylvania. Martha graduated from Clairton High School in 1950 and enjoyed working in the Accounting department at United States Steel.  On April 23rd, 1960 she married Ronald Wayne Hill and raised three daughters in Lorain, Ohio. After a move to Ocala, Florida in 1973, she began a career in the Marion County School System as an Occupational Specialist until her retirement in 2002.

In addition to gardening,  shopping, painting, and reading Martha enjoyed spending time at the ocean. A favorite pastime of hers was to take timeshare vacations to beachside locations and take walks down the beach. She loved to give matching gifts to her daughters and grandchildren.

Martha is survived by her three daughters: Diane (Paul) Rumbley of Melbourne Beach FL, Karen (Erik) Axsom of Palm Bay FL and Paula Jean Hunt of Juno Beach FL; as well as six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her beloved husband Ronald preceded her in death on January 12, 2019.

A private family memorial service will be held at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home.

The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be sent to Health First Foundation Aging Services or William Childs Hospice House.
