Marlene Diane McKean was born Marlena Phillips on April 12th, 1938 in Glendale, California to Harold Phillips and Margaret Wilcox. She was adopted in December of 1941 by Grant and Irene Phillips. Marlene grew up in Amenia, New York and had four Siblings: Harold, Donald, Dorothy and Elinor.

Marlene graduated high school and married Kenneth Roger McKean in 1956. She traveled with her husband throughout his Air Force career and they had two children: Roger Stewart McKean, the eldest, and later a daughter Linda Diane McKean.

Marlene was a wife, mother and homemaker her whole life. In 2009 at age seventy-one Marlene was diagnosed with Alzheimers disease. Marlene passed into heaven on August 18th ten years later at the age 81. Marlene was and is dearly loved by her husband son and daughter. Her husband preceded her in death three months earlier on May 7th, 2019.  Marlene is survived by her son Roger McKean and daughter Linda McKean.

Funeral Services will be held August 30th at at Victory Assembly of God at 11:00am, The address is: 1800 Blain Street NE, Palm Bay, FL 32905. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am, viewing from 10:00 to 11:00.
