Marjorie (Marjie) Ann Lusinski, age 98, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024, with her family by her side at The Life Care Center of Palm Bay.  She is now united with her father, who she absolutely adored.  He left this earth when Marjie was just a young girl of 12.  She never forgot him, telling others about the wonderful man and loving father he was.

Marjie was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 7, 1925, to Felix and Ann (Rauch) Houseman.  She leaves behind her relatives Maurie Houseman and his daughter Kate Houseman (Craig Wassenaar), and many dear friends and distant cousins. She will be especially missed by Kate, who loved her dearly and spent countless hours with Marjie in more recent years.  Kate and Craig always enjoyed the many lunches and dinners with Marjie at her favorite place to dine, The Shack Riverfront Restaurant in Palm Bay.

Marjie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Felix Houseman and Ann Belinky, as well as her long-time partner George Mayo, and several aunts and uncles.  After the death of her father, she and her mother moved to Memphis, Tennessee to be near her mother's family. As a young woman, she moved to Chicago for several years before moving to Florida.

Marjie worked many years in the antique business, traveling on road shows, and making lifelong connections. She was naturally quiet and shy, but those who knew her best would describe her as feisty, independent, and strong-willed.  She also had a big heart and loved sharing stories with her friends, often showing her special sense of humor.
