Marjorie Slay Ernst, 99, of Melbourne, Florida, went home to heaven on Monday November 29, 2021.

She was born to Robert & Marguerite Slay on November 19,1922 in Biloxi, Mississippi and moved to Fort Pierce, Florida a few years later. She graduated from St. Anastasia Catholic School then served her community, at the Post Office and school board until she retired. She married the late Harold Ernst in1952 and resided in Melbourne, FL.

She is survived by her children: Michael Ernst; (Regina); Mary Ernst Stallings; (Edgar); and Teresa Ernst Michael; (Jeff). Her four grandchildren Emily Ernst; Brett Ernst; (Makiko); Kristen Stallings Teall; (Justin); and Carly Stallings. She also had four great grandchildren, Jocelyn; Ethan; Austin; and Mason Teall.

She enjoyed traveling, being with her family and dancing. She was a member of the Space Coast Parrot Head Club and the Purple Panthers. She was an avid member of Ascension Catholic Church for over 60 years.

A funeral mass will be held at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935 on December 14 at 11:00 AM.
