Mario Rogell, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 2nd. He was born in Yugoslavia (Slovenia), relocated to Canada and then moved to Florida in 1957. Mario was a retired Builder, Master Plumber, Electrical and A/C Contractor. He was a previous owner of Beach Plumber and DOB Inc.

Mario resided in New Orleans for several years and later returned to Florida. He was a founding member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus and several trade associations.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Julia Steele, granddaughter Stephanie Steele, daughter-in-law Barbara Rogell, parents, brother, sister and the mother of his children, Mary Rogell.

He is survived by his children, Mario Rogell Jr., Maria (Jim) Hayden, Frances (Lynn) Croswell, John Rogell, Peter (Cindy) Rogell, Elizabeth Machuga and Katherine (Rodney) Sorrell, 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 11AM with visitation from 10 - 11AM at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Indialantic, Fl. Reception to follow at the Church Community Room. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens.
