Marilyn I. Clegg, 77, departed this life on Friday, June 6, 2014 in Melbourne, FL. Born in Attleboro, MA on March 26, 1937. She was a graduate of the College of St. Elizabeth in Boston, earning a degree in nursing. Marilyn's compassion and love for others led her into 53 years of nursing. She was adventurous and enjoyed traveling around the globe. Some of her favorite past times where spent in London, Amsterdam and Hawaii. Marilyn has been a resident of Brevard for 8 ½ years, where she enjoyed the climate, relaxing on the beach and cherishing the beautiful sunsets. Her hobbies included: reading novels especially mysteries, gardening and woodworking. Marilyn will be remembered as an independent woman that truly had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed by her partner, Peg Larson. Per Marilyn's request, services will be held privately.
