Marie Patricia Vanderbilt, formerly of Brevard County, died peacefully on May 12, 2015 at her home, her family at her side. She was born in New York, the only girl in a family of 5 brothers.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Richard and her daughter, Patsy, survivors include her children, Jimmy (Marianne) Vanderbilt, Lolly (Buddy) and Bethy; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She touched the lives of many other children as she fostered 16 children when they needed temporary care. She and Richard also touched the lives of many unborn children, as they were very active in the prolife movement.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935.
