Margarita M. Negron, 92, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, July 5, 2014. She was born on November 2, 1921 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico to the late Ramon Melendez and Ana Rivas Berrios. Margarita will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves memories to be cherished by her daughters, Alva N. Hernandez and Evelyn Gonzalez; brothers, Ramon, Jose, Luis and Carlos Melendez; sisters, Maria, Lydia, and Delia Melendez; grandchildren, Vincent Hernandez, Alisha Dupoux, Katrina Elease Williams, Jessica Lee Garcia, Stefanie Lynne Garcia and Matthew Antonio Gonzalez; great grandchildren, Amber Hernandez, Cynthia Hernandez, Elijah Yerelle Dupoux Hernandez, Nariyah Yiselle Dupoux, Eliyanah Yahnelle Dupoux, Aviyah Yovelle Dupoux, Vincent Christopher Williams, Lucas Osker Williams, Xavier Watkins and Makalyn Watkins; nieces, Ligia Raquel Melendez, Eva Rivera, Margie Rivera and Sonia Melendez; nephews, Jerry Rivera and Johnny Martinez; great nieces, Yvonne Jimenez, Sandra Lee Perez and Angie Perez; great nephews, Raymond Jimenez and Enrique Jimenez. Her beautiful smile and joyful spirit will remain in our hearts forever. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 10th at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne with a vigil service to begin at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 11th at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne followed by interment at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge.
