Margaret Lee Hunihan (Seman) formerly of Suffield, Connecticut, passed away at the age of 66 on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 surrounded by family and immense love.

Lee grew up in Newtown, Connecticut as the oldest of six and where she later met her husband Jerry of 40 years. Lee was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.

Lee had many passions, including working in the yard or going to the beach, along with being an avid reader and cook. She helped grow the successful Hunihan Painting business alongside her husband while raising their two sons in her favorite role as a mother. Lee had a true joy for life and the people in it. Whether you were her family or a stranger, Lee had a way of making you feel seen, heard, and loved. She always did everything she could to show others they were cared for. To know Lee is to love Lee and that is evident by the immense amount of grief felt in her passing.

Lee is survived by her devoted husband, Jerry Hunihan; cherished sons, Jerry Hunihan and his girlfriend Lauren Graham, and Ryan Hunihan and his wife Holly; loving father, Richard Seman and his wife Marilyn; siblings Sharon Tolland and her husband Sean, Richard Seman, Patricia Seman, Kevin Seman, and Christopher Seman and his wife Aimee; as well as countless adored family including cousins, nieces, and nephews. Lee was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Patricia Seman.

A service and celebration of life will be held in her honor on Thursday, September 3rd at 1pm at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, Florida.
