Malinda Merrifield Markle, 58, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018.

She was born to Hollis Merrifield and Nancy Carolyn Johnson on September 12, 1959 in St. John's, Antigua. Mindy graduated from Eau Gallie High School in 1977 and began working as a Cosmetologist in Melbourne.  For over 35 years Mindy built a loyal clientele in Brevard County. She also donated her services to a number of local charities, and would often travel to clients who were not able to leave their homes. Throughout her life, Mindy always helped others and has left a legacy of care and love.

Mindy met the love of her life James Markle in 2007, and they later married on October 1, 2011. Jim and Mindy traveled all around visiting their children and grandchildren, and loved to travel to the Caribbean.

Mindy is survived by her husband Jim, of Melbourne; her children Ryan Vescio, of Orlando; Richard Vescio, of Melbourne; David Markle of Honolulu, Hawaii; Rachel (Vescio) Smith of Orlando; Katie Markle of Cocoa Beach; and Tom Markle of Cocoa Beach. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; her father; and her sister Denise Richard of Melbourne and her brother Craig Merrifield of Melbourne.

A celebration service of her life will be celebrated on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the beach access behind Sun on the Beach at 1753 Hwy A1A, Satellite Beach, FL 32937.
