Madeleine F. Murray, died peacefully Sunday, November 27, 2022.

She is survived by her loving spouse, Merrick (Bud) Murray, of 65 years and two daughters, Lisa Cain and husband Rodney, Joanne Corby and husband Michael (preceded in death), granddaughter Amanda Meyers and husband Joe, grandsons Ryan Cain, Kyle Cain, Dustin Corby, Brett Cain and wife Lauren, Derek Corby, David Corby, and seven great-grandchildren.

Born in Montréal, Québec, Canada on December 21, 1934. She became a United States citizen on March 22, 1958. The only daughter of five children, Madeleine spent her early years ice skating in her backyard before joining Holiday on Ice. After years of traveling with the ice show, Madeleine traveled with her husband, also a cast member of Holiday on Ice, during his 28-year Army career until they settled in Melbourne.

Through the years, Madeleine enjoyed being an officer's wife, maman, and mobby, visits to Broadway and the King Center, supporting local arts, Kids Without Christmas, family, and friends. Up to the end, Madeleine kept a positive outlook on life and her quick witting sense of humor.

A celebration of life will follow the funeral service at 11:00 am at Ascension Catholic Church on December 17, 2022.
