Lulu M. Dunham, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 in Melbourne, Fl. She was born in Redgranite, WI to the late Allie Doan and the late Olga Eisner on July 1, 1930. Lulu was a graduate of Oshkosh High School and worked for Lenox Candle Company in Oshkosh, WI. She married the love of her life, Gordon Dunham on August 11, 1951.
She was a member of Sarah-Susanne Circle, Mary Circle, Pastor - Parish Committee, Church Women United and served as Co-Chairman Fairgrounds Food Project. Lulu was also an active & ardent crafter and a wonderful housewife. Lulu proudly worked at UW-Oshkosh where she received numerous awards for her love of the students.
Lulu and Gordon retired to Brevard County in 1990.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Gordon; daughter, Debra White of Dallas, TX; grandchild, Shannon Bishop of Longmont, CO; sisters, Arlene Fuchs of Charlotte, NC and Shirley Eason of Ripon, WI; brother, Jerry Doan of Greenville, SC. She also leaves a number of nieces and nephews: Jimmy Eason, Shirley Hanson, Beverly Rivera, Sherri Palakoski; Dennis, Jimmy and Bob Miller, Diane Houston, Tammy Schlisner, Tracey Johnson; Terry Tina and Tony Doan.
Lulu was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Miller.
A Celebration of Lulu's Life will be held at 1PM on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Arrowood Clubhouse, West Melbourne, FL. Inurnment will take place at Riverside Mausoleum in Oshkosh, WI at a later date.
