Obituary

Lucille M. Deith of Melbourne, rose to her heavenly home in the evening of April,12, 2023. A transplant from Connecticut in 1988 and a true lover of Florida's beautiful climate, Lucille literally dug into the Florida soil with her love for gardening.

Soon after, with her roots firmly planted, she met and married her beloved, now late, Kenneth Deith, growing her family exponentially. Ken's love allowed her to retire early from DBA where she worked as a bookkeeper allowing her gardens and butterflies to flourish!

Lucille was known as the Butterfly Lady at West Melbourne's Calvary Chapel where she worshiped and served our Lord Jesus Christ in multiple ministries. Lucille is also the author of "The Butterfly: the miracle of spiritual rebirth.

She is now survived by her daughter Cheryl Wiley of Melbourne and grand-daughter Deanna Wiley, currently of San Antonio, TX.

A celebration of life service will be held on Friday April 21st with visitation from 3-4 p.m. and Celebration of Life service from 4-5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to the Alzheimer's Association. Contributions will be earmarked for global research for the prevention of the disease across the globe.
