Louise Helene (Maher) Storey, 89 of Melbourne Florida, passed away on Thursday July 23, 2020.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Robert Storey, her father Dr. Aime Maher, her mother Georgette (Buist) Maher, and her sister Suzanne Maher. She is survived by her sisters Francoise Maher, Marie Maher (Jean Pierre Immarigeon), and her children Charles (Sarah) Storey and Patty (Mike) Piazza, her grandchildren Tina Piazza, Frank Storey, Robert Storey, and Aimee Storey, her nieces Ariane (Richard) and Gabrielle (Benjamin), her grandnephew Antoine and her grandniece Anaïs.

Louise was born and raised in Montreal Canada and then moved to Clearwater Florida in 1958 where she was a homemaker and loving parent to her children and those in the neighborhood. She then moved to Melbourne in 1985 after a few stops in California, Georgia, and South Florida due to her husband's job. Louise was an active member of Ascension Catholic Church and worked for years in the Sewing Room and the Thrift shop. She participated in the church bazaar for many years and recently enjoyed attending Wonderful Wednesdays.

Outside of church, Louise regularly attended Tai Chi classes. She volunteered at the public library. Louise was an avid gardener and a member of the Rare Fruit Council until her husband's passing.

A funeral mass will be held  at Ascension Catholic Church at 11:30am on Tuesday July 28, 2020. Louise will be cremated afterwards and her remains buried along side those of her husband in Montreal Canada.
