Obituary

Louis C Treml born on October 2, 1936 in Laona, Wisconsin left this earth on December 30, 2020. He was proceeded in death by his stepdaughter Ja'Lynn Hollis. He will be deeply missed and is survived by his wife Linda of 48 years. His stepchildren, JJ Hollis, Jr, Ricky Cucuel (Dana), William Hollis, granddaughters, Shellbe Cucuel, Alicia Hollis, Carly Hursey (Adam) and April Hollis, great granddaughter Della Hursey and Selah Cucuel-Pompa, Brothers Arnie Treml (Evelyn), Mike Treml (Beverly),Joe Treml (Adele), Carl Treml (Pon), sisters Alice Aschinger, Carol Enders (Chuck) sister-in-law Anna Kunzler (Bill) cousin Diane (Donald) and many nieces and nephews.
Lou served in the Air Force from January 1954 until January 1958. In 1959 he blindly took a job with RCA on a tracking ship at Cape Canaveral, Florida, being from Wisconsin he had never seen the Ocean or let alone been at sea. The ship was station down range so the missiles launch from Cape Canaveral could be track to their destination, his time on the ship took him to Belize, South Africa and many other islands.
Lou's nickname among family and friends was "Papa Lou". He enjoyed cruising around the world, camping, sailing and boating with his wife Linda. He looked forward to his annual trip to Laona, Wisconsin to hunt grouse with his brothers and nephew Joey.
He was a devoted husband, a great stepdad and loved his grandchildren and spent many hours teaching them how to fish.
His lifelong passion was fishing, whether in the ocean, trout streams in Wisconsin, or Salmon fishing in Alaska.
No service will be held at his request however, Lou's life will be celebrated in Wisconsin with his family and friends.
