Loretta Ellen Durbin, of Viera, Florida, left this earthly existence on March 5, 2017 for her place in heaven.

She was born in Key West, Florida on March 6, 1931 to Elwood and Dorothy Carbonell. Loretta graduated from Key West High School in 1949. She married Joseph Wesley Durbin (deceased) shortly after graduation.

Loretta became a cosmetologist and owned a hair salon in Indian Harbor Beach, the Beach Beauty Hut, for over 30 years. She loved the ocean, enjoyed oil painting, singing and playing the organ, but most of all doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her 3 children, Joseph Durbin, Jr., (Beverly) Houston TX; Peggy Payne, (Richard) Dunbar WV; and Brigitte Bache, Viera FL. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 10th at 3:00 PM at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
