Lois Chambery Koopmans, 92, formally of Rochester, NY, departed this life peacefully on Saturday, January 4th, 2014, in Melbourne, FL. She was born in Rochester on June 23, 1921 and was the beloved child of the late John and Dinah Cambier-Chambery. Lois leaves memories to be cherished by her son, Bruce and grandchildren, Ethan and Nathaniel Clark. She will be remembered as a loving, caring mother, grandmother, whom adored the precious gift of life. She was predeceased by her daughter, Cheryl Clark and her brother, Donald Chambery. Mrs. Koopmans worked as a bookkeeper for the majority of her career in the banking industry. She was employed by Rochester Saving Bank, Beikirch's Hardware, Delco and Kodak. In her golden years, she enjoyed sewing, relaxing in the warm climate and perfecting her culinary skills. Mrs. Koopmans will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Family will have private services at a later date. Interment will take place in White Haven Memorial Park, Pittsford, NY.
