Lisa "Li Li" Ann Batchelder, born July 12, 1971 to Roger F. Batchelder II, and Vivian Eva (Rogers)  Batchelder, was a beloved daughter, sister, and aunt. She was the second child born in her  family, with an older brother, Roger F. Batchelder III, and younger step sister Amber Nicole  (Batchelder) Shepherd, and sister Kayla Lin Batchelder. Lisa's stepmother, Linda Sue (Morgan)  Batchelder, was also a cherished part of her life.

In her youth, Lisa was an accomplished equestrian, winning many trophies during her time in  Davie, Florida. She graduated from Seniors Academy in Davie in 1988 and enrolled at Broward  Community College with dreams of becoming a Broadcast Journalist.

Lisa was a loving partner to Tommy Buchanan, and together they shared many cherished  moments.

Tragically, Lisa's life was cut short on January 12, 2024, due to a terrible accident. Despite this  heartbreaking loss, those who knew Lisa remember her as a ray of sunshine, always ready with  a smile to brighten the day of those around her. Her infectious laughter, unbreakable spirit, and  boundless love for her family will be dearly missed.

Lisa is survived by her nieces, Cheyenne Batchelder, Maya Batchelder, Zakiyyah Shepherd, and  nephews Idris Shepherd, and Mustafa Shepherd, who were all dear to her heart. She leaves  behind a legacy of love and joy that will be cherished by all who were touched by her presence.
