Lingmoy Barbara Cameron, 85, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 10, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 25, 1940, in Rio Claro, Nariva, Trinidad and Tobago, to the late Joseph Carr and Beatrice Taitt. In 1970, she married Gordon Cameron, and together they made their home in Connecticut before relocating to South Florida in 1980. Following their retirement, they settled in Palm Bay in 1996.

Lingmoy devoted her career to nursing and retired in 1993. She was deeply committed to caring for others and took great joy in improving the lives of those entrusted to her care.

Outside of her profession, Lingmoy was an avid gardener and loved to travel. She especially cherished the many cruises she shared over the years with her husband, family, and friends.

She is survived by her two sons, Gordon Cameron of Melbourne, Florida, and Duncan Cameron of Denver, Colorado.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 1, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home, located at 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne, Florida 32935.
