IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda
White
March 29, 1943 – October 21, 2021
Linda White, age 78, of Indian Harbour Beach, went to heaven on 21 October 2021. She passed away after a short illness with her husband by her side.
She was born in El Paso, Texas 29 March 1943 to Hazel and James Ketchersid of Visalia, California. Mom and Dad spent their retired years at Air Force Village, San Antonio, Texas. Linda attended grammar school and high school in California then left the state to attend Stevens College in Missouri. Her love for travel and adventurous spirit led her to a flight attendant job with Trans World Airlines where she worked until retirement in 1988. In 1978 she met her husband, Ed, on a flight to Portugal. He was the pilot on that trip. She use to say," it was love at first flight." They traveled the world together while working and it didn't end at retirement. They lived in France, Germany, and Holland but their home base was always Florida. Five years ago, Linda was diagnosed with MS that had been in remission for 50+ years. It ultimately caused side effects that she couldn't overcome.
Darling Linda, leaves behind her husband of 41 years. Brother James and his wife Ruth in southern California Their two married daughters and children also reside in California. Ed's three children. Susan and her husband, Les Cunningham, along with children and grandchildren live in east Tennessee. Son Ed and wife, Coco, their two sons, and son John and wife Shannah and children, live in Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Multiple Sclerosis research.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
